Blog – First of all – happy new year to everyone who logs on and apologies for not updating the site for so long. As everyone who knows me knows, we have opened a spiritual shop in Evesham (Spiritus) and started running ghost walks and events (Evesham Ghost Tours) and this has taken up most of my time. However, things are beginning to settle down now and so I can at last turn my attention to my blog again! Katy the cat has returned. My mom spotted an ad in the local paper saying “lost cat” and giving Kate’s description. She had been run over and was in the care of the Cat Protection League. Luckily she is fine and back to her usual self. Thanks to all who sent out thoughts for her – I am sure they helped in us finding her. There’s a lot more to running a shop than you would think! We are now stocking most things like crystals, tarot, jewellery etc and I am making my own spells which are selling well. Of course we still do readings but now only do them in the shop – we can still do parties but these have to be as and when we can do them, with a minimum of six people. I HATE not being able to read for anyone and everyone but I just can’t be in two places at once. The psychic circle is also proving to be very popular – it’s grown so big we are having to consider opening another circle on a Wednesday! Keep watching the workshops page for further details. We had an exciting time in December. I was asked to the Kerrang studios in On 7th December we appeared on Yvette Fielding’s Friday Fright Night, again on Kerrang – lovely people. Hubby Karl was there along with Stuart and Kath from Most Haunted and also Fred, owner of Ceaser’s Night club (and said to be the most haunted man in We also did a phone in, where people rang in for a tarot reading. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the team were so lovely and down to earth – they even asked us to share their pizza! July 2007 We seem to be inundated with requests for work at the moment, which is wonderful. Several pubs have approached us and asked us to do an evening of clairvoyance – a psychic supper if you like. Guests have a meal and then we entertain you with messages and readings for a couple of hours. More details on this will follow shortly. Our circle goes from strength to strength. We have such a lovely group of people who attend the energy is wonderful. Even people who started the groups saying they "never got anything" are now reporting meeting their guides and seeing colours etc – well done everyone!
Our first vigil at Falstaffs Experience in Stratford is on Saturday night so come along if you can – the place has a vortex and I have never felt so much energy in one space – it promises to be a good night! PS… Michael was telling me that someone had emailed him saying that they had been told that connecting to the spirit world in a Ghost Hunt situation is "evil" and that we should be moving spirits on and not talking to them. I think this is an important point so I want to give you my opinion on it. Remember, this is only my opinion… The spirits I encounter on my Ghost Hunting adventures are normally very happy where they are. Mike and I always ask them if they want to move on. We tell them about the white light, that there is no judgment on the other side (only the judgment you place upon yourself) and that their friends and relatives will be there to meet them. If, after we have had a chat, they still don’t want to go, we can’t make them. Simple as that. They have free will, just like you do. How would you feel if I came barging into your house and said "come on, you have to move to Australia now" – you can see why they wouldn’t want to go! Of course, there true place, where they should be, is in spirit. They will come to realise this in their own time and will move on eventually. Until then, I don’t feel that I, or anyone else, has the right to try and move them. To be honest, I probably couldn’t move them on anyway if they were set on staying. I don’t think what we do is evil – if by going on a Ghost Hunt someone gets interested in the other side of life or they have an experience that changes their life and makes them think about spirituality – then I feel I have done something good.
Energy Flow I seem to be having to explain energy to loads of people recently, so I thought I would add it to the blog. Every thought we have is a living thing. Your thoughts seep out into your aura and create their own energy. When I read people’s aura I can literally “see” what they have been thinking about. Now, remember one of the laws of the Universe – like attracts like. If you send out negative thoughts then you will attract negative thoughts. The same happens of course, when you think in a positive way. If someone really annoys you, don’t wish bad things on them or send negativity their way, because it will boomerang back to you. Let the universe take care of it for you - that’s what karma is all about. Remember, if they have harmed or hurt you, that energy will eventually come back to them – one way or another. Another energy people get stuck on is money. Yes, money is an energy like any other and once you have the right attitude to it, it will begin to flow for you. Again, it’s about changing your thoughts (which is probably harder than you think). You may have negative feelings about money, saying to yourself “I will never have any money” “money never comes my way” “I have to work really hard for anything I want” Look at those statements – you can see for yourself what you are telling the universe! Be positive about money and it will flow. Say positive affirmations and act as though you have money – then watch it come flowing in. If you are interested in energy I would recommend “Living Magically” by Gill Edwards – a book that could literally change your life. Another good book is “Synchro-destiny” by Deepak Chopra on the same subject.
We make our Own Reality That’s pretty hard to swallow isn’t it? But I believe it’s absolutely true. Every scenario you can think of is actually happening right now in another universe. "Reality" only occurs when we observe it. Scary thought, isn’t it, that all our problems and struggles have been created by ourselves! What about other people? Well, their realities have collided with yours. Your version of reality fits in very nicely, thank you, with their version. So we are all interconnected in the most intricate and delicate pattern – all realities interwoven with each other. Of course this is what people like me have always believed and what my Guide has always told me. I asked him about what happens when we die once and he showed me a huge tapestry, part-completed. He said "all lives are part of the tapestry. It’s only when you come back to spirit that you see the bigger picture" and I understood what he meant. Whilst we are in this reality (your reality I should say!) we are like a blinkered horse. We can’t "see the wood for the trees". We only gain that perspective when we lose the physical body. Why is it a secret then? I hear you ask. I don’t think it is. I think people long ago had this knowledge – but it was taken from them by organisations like religion, in order to gain power and control. Now, in our materialistic times, we have lost touch with the spiritual almost completely and have become so "blinkered" that we almost don’t want to know what is going on outside our own reality of mortgages, wide-screen tv’s and cars. I think people lost touch with religion because they couldn’t relate to it anymore. Money and greed became the new Gods – something tangible that provided the quick fix. People wanted "proof" – there was no faith anymore. The fantastic thing is that science is now beginning to give us that proof in the form of quantum physics (see the link at the top of the page). What this means is, that we can have exactly the life we choose to have, but, just as our sub-conscious produces nightmares, our ego produces negatives. Every negative in your world has been produced by you. If you are a wage slave in a job you hate, it’s because you have chosen to be there in this universe. Why? Maybe you don’t feel you deserve more. Maybe you are afraid to change – "better the devil you know" – if you look hard enough, you will find the answers as to why you put yourself in the place you are. The good news is that you can change your universe from today! Start to think in a more positive way. Make positive affirmations. Visualise the things you want and the person you want to be. Go with your intuition – don’t let the doubts and fears of the ego hold you back. Take note of the synchronicities in your life. Be open to new things. Be the person you deserve to be! If you want to read more on this subject I recommend Living Magically by Gill Edwards ISBN 0-7499-1074-7. She goes into the subject in great detail but in a way we can all understand.
Spreading the Light You must have noticed that the world we live in is breaking down. By that, I mean that people are becoming more selfish, there is no respect of care for our youngsters or elders, there is no spirit of community or sharing. This is because we have moved away from our spiritual nature. There is a basic human need for spirituality. Even in the most far flung corner of the earth in the most isolated tribe, you will find they worship "something" – many years ago it was the Sun that was worshipped. This gave way to other beliefs and religions such as Christianity. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter what you believe in – it’s the being connected together that counts. We are all part of the universe. We are all connected in that sense. Jesus said it in his Gospel (which was conveniently left out of the new testament) that God is within us all – "he" is not on the outside. It’s no good looking for answers elsewhere – all the answers are within yourself. You just have to find them. This is what drives us to search for spirituality – that instinct that we are all connected. We seem in recent years to have lost this – here in the West we live in a very greedy "me" kind of society. Everyone is out for themselves and people don’t want to share what they have. People have lost their connectedness to each other. It doesn’t have to be like this. It just takes a little bit of effort on our part. In you daily life this week, just try and do one act of kindness for someone – one purely unselfish thing that comes just from your heart – a wish to make someone’s life a little easier. It can be as simple as holding a door open for someone – but when you do it, really mean it. Really wish well for the person you help. This has a snowball effect – you will feel good about yourself and want to do it more often – people will notice how kind you are and will do things for you too. Everyone has a "feel good" factor! Try it – spread the light. Let’s make the world a slightly nicer place to live in.
The Spirit World There is some confusion surrounding the types of entity in the spirit world. I have tried to set out below things as I understand them. Please, if you disagree or can enlighten me, I would be more than happy to change my opinion! Feel fee to email me! Spirit Guides Spirit guides are, I suppose, the "Guardian Angels" of the bible. They are thinking, sentient beings who choose to travel with us through our lives, for a variety of reasons. The obvious reason of course is to help us. They can’t intervene in our lives unless we ask them too – just as your friends in this life can’t interfere in your life unless you request it. So, if you want the help of your guide – ASK! Can you imagine how frustrating it must be to watch someone you love making mistakes, perhaps taking the wrong path in life. You can help them – but they don’t even know you are there! Some people do not accept they have guides – some don’t want to know them. What is the guide’s job then? Well, I asked my guide about his and he explained that working with us is a two-way thing. He learns from me as I learn from him. Someone who never knows their guide may still be teaching their guide lessons – even though they don’t realise it! It’s like a contract – we both agreed to work together (before incarnation) to our mutual benefit.
Spirit Spirit are thinking beings like you and I. If I see a spirit, I can talk to them and they can talk to me. They are aware of their surroundings and of the living. Some have lived before, some have not (like elementals). The point is that they are the basically the same as you or I – they just don’t live in a physical body on this level. Ghosts Ghosts are not thinking entities. They are simply replays of an event that happened in the past. Somehow, some events get "recorded" into the atmosphere, just like a video recording gets recorded on a tape. This can be because something happened every day for a long time – for example, a man gets up at 6am every day and walks downstairs to make his morning tea. This goes on for 30 years. The man then dies. Some time later, people who live in the house see the "ghost" of the man walking up and down the stairs – his spirit isn’t there. The thinking part of "him" has moved on. What is left is his ghost or imprint. This can also happen when there is trauma – war or murder or violent death often produce ghost energies.
Elementals Elementals come in two varieties: Nature elementals – spirit entities who "look after" nature. Some people call them Faeries or little folk. People tend to think of them as sweet little things but in my experience they can be quite aggressive! Clairvoyant people can see these entities when they tune in but they remain invisible to the general population. Thought Forms – these are generally, by their very nature, quite scary! If a group of people are performing ceremonies in secret (this can be witches covens for example) they will often produce thought forms to "guard" their sacred sites. They will focus their energies together to produce something scary to keep people away. The problem is, you have to give elementals a purpose. If you make one, and then leave it there without transmuting the energy, you can get problems. I encounter these kind of elementals all the time in the haunted houses and castles I work in. Anyone can make an elemental, without even realising it, which is why we should all be aware of our thoughts. Always remember, what we send out we draw back. Try and think positively!
A depiction of a nature elemental Angels I am not sure where I stand on Angels to be honest! I do believe they exist and I believe we can call on their power to help us – but if you read the bible Angels are another entity which aren’t always "fluffy and nice". In the old testament they wreaked the revenge of God and burnt down many a "sin city". I know they are very powerful supernatural beings who are on a different level to humanity – I think some have a task to help us – but some do other work. As with everything, the above opinions are just that – my OPINIONS based on my 30 odd years experience with the spirit world and information my guide has told me. No-one knows for sure what is outside the dimensions we live in – these are just some of the beings I have encountered. You must make up your own mind. My advice to everyone is IF IT DOESN’T SIT WELL WITH YOU – LEAVE IT. I will let my Guide have the final word on this subject: "I am not a grey whispy spirit, floating around in the ether. I am a thinking, sentient being, just like you – I am just in a slightly different space and time". Grey Wolf.
